Jamie has worked as a technician, designer, actress, and musician in theatres from Texas to New York. She is enthralled by the work of Shakespeare and excited by contemporary artists such as Sarah Ruhl and Christopher Durang. She envisions worlds past her own each day, and seeks to bring light to the lives of others using her work in the theatre.
Jamie is currently the Assistant Electrician for Syracuse Stage, and for the Syracuse University Drama Department. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with technical and musical emphases. She has dreams of someday running her own theatre company and engaging audiences in the importance of live theatre throughout her life.
Professional design experience includes work with Syracuse Stage Summer Programs, Winfield High School, Marquee Performing Arts Center, Herrick Goldman Lighting Design, and the Texas Shakespeare Festival.
She seeks to work with talented, creative individuals who share her passion for the arts and for seeing the world in a positive 'light'.
